Editing
The show's still on.. 1/2 way through, but the editing is SO selective tonight, I just have to say something. Tonight is the PERFECT example of why you really MUST get the feeds to truly understand what's going on in the house. So far, they have intentionally removed every mention and every veiled threat that Boogie has made to the other HGs, especially Chicken George, with regard to the Coup d'Etat power. This is not an oversight - it's an intentional deception... and...
It's driving me bonkers.
OK.. they mentioned it in the 3rd segment... still, it doesn't give the tv only viewer any idea of the degree to which Boogie was using it around the house as a tool of manipulation.
Back to the show. I can't wait to see the upcoming altercation...
OK.. the altercation wasn't such a big deal - frankly I had expected more from all the going on about it after the fact.
For me, the real impact came after Howie's exit, while he was on the couch with Julie. I strongly believe Howie is the real reason Boogie has lost the power... things tend to happen when you go over production's head, straight to the network - to the wife of the head of the Network.
Howie mentioned Boogie's lording it over everyone directly to Julie Chen, during his "live" exit interview - in other words, it went beyond production and straight to the network. You go boy. ;) Very nice exterior power play.

I thought he has yet again shown himself as an immature coward. Its all fun and games until he is up on the block. Then insults, name calling and hat throwing start. Poor sportsmanhip, but toptally expected coming from the person who threatened anyone who put him up. Embarrassing for Howie.
As far as the power goes...Since Boogie did not use it in the past two evictions it is wasted. Julie said that he had to use it in one of the next three evictions. Two are gone and he cant over throw himself. It really does not matter now that he has told everyone what it was about. It is null and void.
IMHO, Boogie could still overthrow himself and backdoor someone. I'm a little confused as to whether it was taken away from him, but if not, I believe he could still use it.
Agree with y'all about Howie's behavior... When Howie got nom'd last year he did the same thing.
I say, good riddance to bad rubbish. Let the games begin!
I think the show was heavily edited, mostly because they just had so much to cram into one show.
I always use my husband as an objective viewer of the show since he doesn't watch the feeds. He thought Howie had every right to be pissed and he didn't blame him for acting the way he did, considering it IS Howie and he's expected to be a little over the top. I thought they did a pretty good job of showing what a bully Boogie is.
I really get tired of them showing Boogie so much in the Diary Room sessions. I can't stand him.
I miss Howie already. The house is quiet and boring without him.
Too bad the other HGs dont know that the power is gone.. they dont know the rules about it... he can still hold it over their heads eventhough he cant use it anymore!
i 100 percent agree with cindy!!
I am not a big fan of boogie..but if I was..this is what I would be thinking...think boogie was stupid for winning hoh now. he knew he only had three evictions to use the power...he shoulda threw the comp...lt who ever go up..and then used the power this thursday...the only thing I think he might not have thown it for..was bc janie was 2nd ..but even with that he should of thrown it....it would of put major twist on the house
ok that's all...
